New Arrival!

It has been a very exciting week with us - Monday, January 11, 2010, began with the birth of daughter, Lily Jean Barefoot! She weighed 7 pounds on the dot, and was 19 inches - although at her first Doctors appointment (well check up) at 5 days old, they measured her at 21 inches! So who knows - anyway, she is doing great - and we are all so happy with the new addition to our family! Even Newell! He likes to show her his toys, and give her kisses. Here is a picutre of when they first met (when we brought her home from the hospital)!

So far she is a good little eater and sleeper (which is making mommy very happy)! And we are all just adjusting to this new little angel being in our home.
